Remembrance Day

Bruce County proudly pushed aboce it's weight, sending 2000 men, including many of our First People, as part of the WW1 Canadian Expeditionary Force. Residents also gave generously to war time fundraisers and made significant war bond purchases. WW2 saw Bruce County furniture making expertise and manufactuing capability pressed into service to help make Mosquito bombers. This community haa always stepped up to answer the call and it is powerful that so many come out to honor and remember those who served. It is humbling to think of all the sacrifices that provided the freedom and democracy we are so fortunate to have today.
